The Christmas Shift is coming to Specialist HQ!
The lights are going up, New York is taking shape and Specialist HQ is getting ready for a very different kind of shift!
On Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December, you’re invited to step into The Christmas Shift: a festive New York brought to life at Specialist HQ. Meet Buddy the Elf and the Grinch, with scenes inspired by Rockefeller, Broadway and Times Square – plus a nod to Gimbels, the New York store from Buddy’s story.
Since 2017, Project Santa has brought thousands of families together and raised more than £1 million for charities and community causes. Now our team is preparing for its biggest Christmas shift yet…
Two days of festive fun
There’ll be rides, bouncy castles, live entertainment, festive food and plenty to explore. Children can meet Santa and Mrs Claus, take home a digital photo and leave with a goodie bag.
And keep an eye out: the Grinch may not be the only one causing a little Christmas chaos…

Choose your Christmas Shift
Join us for a daytime Bonanza Show or an evening Extravaganza Show. Both bring the festive fun; the evening show adds the full lighting experience and finishes with fireworks.
The Sunday Extravaganza will also host the live draw of the Project Santa charity raffle.
A quieter, more inclusive show on Sunday offers a calmer way for children with additional needs to enjoy the experience.
Christmas fun that gives back
Specialist covers the cost of running Project Santa, so all proceeds from tickets, raffle entries and donations go directly to the chosen charities.
In 2025, more than 6,000 people visited Specialist HQ, helping raise £312,500. That brings the total raised by Project Santa to more than £1 million.
Every ticket helps turn a family day out into practical support for charities and community causes.
